DESCRIPTION:MLK Day Tree Planting with AmeriCorps\nMonday\, January 19 | 1 – 3\nCommunity Evangelistic Church\n2650 Boyds Bridge Pike\, Knoxville\, TN 37914\nCelebrate MLK Day with Trees Knoxville and CAC AmeriCorps by giving back to the community through tree planting. Together\, we’ll plant 20 new trees and help grow East Tennessee’s urban forest. \nThe event will include a brief tree-planting demonstration and hands-on planting. Light refreshments will be provided. Volunteer Foresters are welcome to join and share their expertise. \nWhat to Bring & Wear:\nPlease dress for muddy conditions and check the weather before arriving. Wear sturdy\, closed-toe shoes and dress in layers.
