Join Kat McDearis\, the owner of Green Heron Compost Services\, as she discusses the importance of composting\, how to properly turn food scraps into quality compost\, & any trouble-shooting. Due to this being a City-funded program\, only residents within Knoxville’s city limits may attend. Attendees will receive one free backyard composter & one countertop food scrap collection bin per household.\n\nThis event is limited to 30 people. You are welcome to bring 1 additional member of your household\, but please specify in your reservation if you are doing so.
