About the Project
Knox County Community Gardens and Growers’ Alliance began by supporting Battlefield Farms’ community garden at Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. The Alliance’s mission is to serve and support community gardens and growers to eliminate food insecurity in Knox County.
Volunteers are needed and welcomed every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am to noon at the Pastor Richard S. Brown Jr. Community Garden at 2723 Louise Avenue.
